Additional Busy, Busy Town (Giant Little Golden Book) Information
|
Welcome to Busytown where everyone is on their way to work. The Busytown grocers stock and sell fresh food; the bankers keep the money safe; the doctors and nurses make sure everyone is healthy; the postal workers collect and deliver letters; the sanitation workers collect trash and recyclables; the lumber workers chop trees to make furniture and houses; and the workers at the docks, railroads and airports help transport people and freight. But it takes even more careers and professions than that to keep this busy town running.

What Customers Say About Busy, Busy Town (Giant Little Golden Book):
|
|
I recommend this book to all new readers. You can never go wrong with a Richard Scarry's book no matter what age, they are colorful and exciting for kids of all ages and if you are reading to a toddler they keep their attention. You can always find something new and different each time you turn the pages.
Absolutly love it and would recommend it to anyone. I bought this book because my husband had the same one when he was a kid. It is so much fun to watch the kids find goldbug on every page.
Some memories just don't go away. This book - though excellent and instructional - is still not the "Busy Busy World" that entertained and educated myself and 3 children back in the '70s.
Richard Scarry knows how to delight children in his funny drawings and silly stories. My 4-year-old son spends hours pouring over the pictures and stories in this book.
This book is helping my littlest granddaughter reinforce her reading skills, she is 7. Richard Scary has been a family friend (through his books) to my children and now to my grandchildren.
